Polar Princess - Vanilla - as she is known at home was whelped on the 12th February 1999. She is the daughter of a well known stud dog - Awesome MacLaren, out of Golden Lilly who produced the Gold Coast Greyhound of the Year in 2001.

Vanilla was shown at the Brisbane Royal Exhibition 2002 against 18 others in her class. She won first prize.Vanilla is now retired, looking forward to coming into season, so that she can visit a handsome, blue gentleman by the name of Bearability - who was the world record holder in 1998.
