Getting started is easy -

JUST LEAVE THE HARD WORK TO US.........

These are a few handy things to know just to give you some idea what happens when we design your site and what we need you to contribute.

1. Decide on what you think your menu items should be.

You can have as many Menu buttons as you need.

This will give us a fair indication of how many pages your site will require. You don't have to be skimpy in this area, as the hosting we will be providing for you (this does not include the ISP generated websites) will be more than ample to cover most peoples needs.

If you are not sure, email or call us, to discuss what will be the best for you. We are only too happy to help you choose the package that will suit you most.

2. Collect all the information that you would like on your site, along with photos. This information can be either emailed to us or posted to us.

Do you have a logo ? If you do, then please email your logo to us, so that it can be included on your site.

Remember that most successful web sites are based on the

KIS (Keep It Simple) principle. The reason for this is that a site needs to download reasonably fast and have relevant, interesting information, with photos.

How many times have you been to a site that just takes too long to download, so you back out and go to the next one? Not everyone is lucky enough to have broadband.

You are probably at the stage now, when you think - ok - but before I go any further what does it cost......... yes we are all the same. A brief example is:

Once you have decided on your Domain Name, we will then go ahead and secure that name. This means that your URL will be something like - www.dogs.com The dot com is the cheapest and easiest to buy at $20 per annum. Others - .com.au .net .org .org.au are also available at different prices.	Hosting will depend on the size of the site. The normal website would be well catered for by 50mbs of Hosting. This hosting includes unlimited email address and guaranteed 99.9% uptime with many other features. The hosting is provided by a local Australian firm who we have used the for many years and find them to be most reliable, helpful and friendly.	This is the most costly and most time consuming part of the site. Design is based on your recommendations and ideas and the price is calculated by the page. With the amount of time that is sometimes spent on design and set up, pricing per page is more economical. We also include touches of flash, animations and slide shows at your request, which are included in the price.	Maintenance in most cases in crucial to the popularity and the success of the site. Maintenance that is performed quickly is our forte. There are 3 maintenance packages available, ranging from 12 - 48 hours per annum. This is broken down into 15 minute blocks which means more regular updates for our customers. These packages are a great saving on casual maintenance.
The prices quoted below are just an example of an average 10 page website.
$20 per annum	$135 per annum	$40 per page	$200 per annum
So if we do our sums at this point - it would mean - a 10 page website - up and running with 12 months maintenance would have a total average cost of $755.
